Kim Kardashian has won a partial victory in court in a legal battle with Blac Chyna, Rob Kardashian’s ex-fiance.

Kim Kardashian (41) can look forward to a partial victory in court. On Friday, a judge dismissed Blac Chyna’s (33) defamation lawsuit against Kim Kardashian. That reports “Variety”. However, further points of the indictment have yet to be decided. Blac Chyna, Rob Kardashian’s (35) ex-fiancée, has accused the Kardashian-Jenner clan of ruining her reality TV career and is seeking more than $100 million in total damages.

A week ago, the Kardashian-Jenner clan filed a motion in court to dismiss Chyna’s lawsuits. In the case of Kim Kardashian, there was now a first success – Chyna had demanded $ 40 million from her. The judge ruled that no evidence of defamation was presented.

However, Kim Kardashian is not completely off the hook yet: the case against her for contract interference is still ongoing. The defamation and breach of contract lawsuits against Kris Jenner (66) and her daughters Kylie Jenner (24) and Khloé Kardashian (37) have yet to be decided.

What is the litigation about?

At the center of the lawsuit is the reality TV series Rob & Chyna, which aired on E! was broadcast. It is about Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna’s relationship and preparing for the birth of their first daughter, Dream (5). At the end of 2016, the two separated.

Blac Chyna’s lawsuit allegation now reads: The Kardashians are said to have caused “Rob & Chyna” to be canceled in 2017 and allegedly ruined Chyna’s career. The Kardashian family allegedly falsely told the reality show’s producers that Blac Chyna allegedly violently assaulted her then-fiancé, Rob Kardashian. Kris Jenner was allegedly the mastermind behind this plan, in which the family allegedly used their power to cancel the show.

The legal dispute between the two parties has been going on since 2017 and the process began in April 2022.
