Disneyland Paris turns into a vaccinodrome

Coronavirus: Disneyland Paris turns into a vaccination center – 20 minutes

This time it is not Mickey or Minnie who welcomes visitors to Disneyland Paris, but rather nurses in white coats and firefighters. Since April 24, the amusement park, located in Chessy, in Seine-et-Marne, has reopened its doors … to transform itself into an XXL vaccination center, as part of the vaccination campaign against the coronavirus.

At least 1,000 doses per day

This vaccinodrome is installed in the convention center where professional events usually take place. At least 1,000 people per day can be vaccinated. “Depending on the additional arrivals of doses, we aim to go up to 3,000 or even 4,000 vaccinations per day” specifies Thierry Coudert, Prefect of Seine-et-Marne.

To meet demand, the Seine-et-Marne prefecture has already announced that
new niches will be available “for priority audiences over 55 on Friday April 30, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm”. Appointments can only be made online, via the Doctolib site.
