The body of a seriously injured and unconscious man was discovered by a motorist on the night of Saturday to Sunday, around 3:30 a.m., on the dual carriageway Rennes-Redon near the town of Lieuron (Ille-et-Vilaine). The victim was lying on the roadway under a bridge. The firefighters and gendarmes intervened quickly but, despite their multiple attempts, failed to resuscitate her, reports West France.
It would be a young man aged 19 living in Loire-Atlantique. His body had a stomach injury.
The gendarmerie opened an investigation to understand what could have happened.
