Tesla radically lowers prices. In December, a Model 3 cost at least 52,490 euros, now it is available at a discount of 16 percent for 43,990 euros. With the Model Y, the discount is a little higher at 9100 euros. No wonder that the market leader in e-cars is further expanding its lead in Germany. And how does the main competitor VW react to this “dumping and guerrilla pricing”, as the market observer Ferdinand Dudenhöffer calls it? With price increases, at least for combustion engines, the all-electric ID models remain at their high level.
