What has happened so far: The Leipzig literature professor Dirk Oschmann is also writing an angry non-fiction book in the direction of the West with the subtitle “How the construction of the East is splitting our society”. A similarly polemical text about this book then appears in the features section of the SZ. Oschmann, in turn, is amazed by this, and in some cases publicly astonished. Only sensible solution? Finally meeting and talking on a Monday in May at the University of Leipzig.
