Dinosaurs: Rare Fossil Controversy Enters Next Round – Knowledge

In December 2020, a 110-million-year-old dinosaur from Brazil stunned scientists with its fur-like hairs and spear-like feathers that sprout from its shoulders. But Ubirajara jubatus, as the scientists called the animal, is now not only known for its striking features. It has also sparked a controversy in which German paleontologists and officials claiming the fossil battle the Brazilian scientific community who want the fossil back.
