Since Wednesday, there has been a driving ban on old diesel vehicles in emission class Euro 4/IV in the Munich environmental zone, which now also includes the Mittlerer Ring. This affects around 70,000 vehicles registered in Munich alone. From October 1st, a further 70,000 class 5/V vehicles will be affected by the diesel ban.
