Diesel driving ban: city accepts applications for exceptions – Munich

On February 1st, the first stage of the diesel driving ban will come into force in the environmental zone. It applies to diesel vehicles with emission standards 4/IV and worse. Initially, residents, severely disabled people with a parking permit, delivery and rental car traffic, taxis, funeral and craftsmen vehicles with a parking permit are excluded. Those who do not fall under the general exceptions can now muenchen.de/ausnahme-umweltzone apply for an exemption.

Access to the Grossmarkthalle, the car train at the Ostbahnhof, the Olympic Stadium park harp and the Thalkirchen campsite, the central bus station (for regular buses) and trips in the event of medical emergencies are still permitted.
