After more than ten years, musician Sean “Diddy” Combs is releasing a new album on Friday with “The Love Album: Off the Grid”.

The New York musician Sean “Diddy” Combs (53) is releasing a new album on his own R&B label Love Records this Friday (September 15th). With “The Love Album: Off the Grid” he returns after around thirteen years. He released his last record, “Last Train to Paris,” in 2010 with the hip-hop duo Dirty Money. The last solo album “Press Play” comes from 2006.

Collaboration with top stars announced three weeks ago

For the new record, Diddy worked with top stars in the music industry such as The Weeknd (33), Justin Bieber (29) and John Legend (44). The official music video for the song “Another One of Me” is already available.

Just three weeks ago Diddy announced the new release on Instagram. “R&B is alive,” he captioned a clip explaining the album’s genesis. “Why am I doing this? Especially given the success I’ve had and the stressful and treacherous music industry,” the musician explained in the video. His heart was broken and he still asks himself the question: “Will I ever love again?” The musician already announced the album’s theme “Love”. In keeping with this, the video also features footage of his ex-girlfriend Kim Porter (1970-2018) and his ex-partner Yung Miami (29).

In the documentary-like clip, the artist is also accompanied in the studio, where his prominent colleagues also step up to the microphone.
