At least the ending was somewhat orderly. In the meantime, it was feared that the situation between the German Football Association (DFB) and Martina Voss-Tecklenburg would degenerate into a public mudslinging. Just a few days ago, both parties communicated via public announcements – the DFB on the association’s homepage, Voss-Tecklenburg on her Instagram page. That’s rarely a good sign.
