The round of 16 of the DFB Cup is coming up and despite Bayern being eliminated early, football fans can look forward to some exciting encounters. The overview shows which games you receive free of charge.

The DFB Cup writes its own laws. This football wisdom should have become more common in recent years, especially in Munich. After the 5-0 defeat by Borussia Mönchengladbach, FC Bayern have not managed to survive the winter in the cup competition for the second time in a row.

The chances for Borussia Dortmund to defend the title are all the greater. On the way to Berlin, however, BVB must first hold their own against FC St. Pauli on Tuesday evening. The second division leader welcomes Dortmund with a lot of self-confidence at the Millerntor and wants to crown a brilliant season with a surprise win.

The game starts at 8:45 p.m. and will be broadcast on ARD. Jessy Wellmer will be the moderator. Expert Bastian Schweinsteiger and commentator Gerd Gottlob classify the events for the viewers.

Also Köln-HSV and the capital derby on free TV

Another traditional duel will be shown on free TV on Sport1 at 6:30 p.m. The surprise team of the Bundesliga season, 1. FC Köln, receives Hamburger SV in the Rhein-Energie-Stadion. Presenter Thomas Helmer and expert Stefan Effenberg lead through the evening.

On Wednesday, the focus is on the capital derby between Hertha BSC and Union Berlin. This will also be broadcast on ARD. Just like the game the night before, the derby can also be streamed without registering in the ARD media library. Kick-off in the Berlin Olympic Stadium is at 8:45 p.m.

One Football offers Pay Per View system

In addition, the pay channel Sky will show all eight games separately and in a conference as usual. Among other things, the encounter between Bayern conqueror Gladbach and Hannover 96 and the East duel between Leipzig and Rostock are affected. If you have a long-term subscription, you can receive all games via the Sky Sport HD channel selection. In the live stream, these can also be accessed live via the “Sky Go” app.

For football fans who no longer want to commit themselves, Sky also offers a “Supersport Ticket”. For 29.99 euros you can follow the DFB Cup for 30 days as well as the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga and the English Premier League.

The football platform One-Football is also offering a pay-per-view option this year through a partnership with Sky. For 3.99 euros you get the right to access the Sky stream of the selected game. After the final whistle, the entitlement ends without further subscription traps.
