The Bundesliga soccer club won 3-0 (2-0) against the north-east regional league club FC Viktoria in Berlin. Simon Zoller (19′) and Takuma Asano (22′) scored before the break, Philipp Hofmann (65′) scored the final score.

The second division club FC St. Pauli had more trouble than desired. The Hamburgers came to a happy 4: 3 (2: 2) in Duisburg at the west regional league team SV Straelen.
