Deutsche Bank stops digital bank plans – Economy

The bank actually wanted to become more digital, younger, cooler. But nothing comes of it for the time being: after just a year, plans are paused again. Anger is growing within the company.

Many traditions have developed at Deutsche Bank over the years. Frequent changes to the board of directors are just as important as high bonuses. But the financial institution also has a penchant for grandiose announcements of digital projects. The latter often devour many millions, only to be quietly and secretly stopped at some point. According to SZ information, this probably also applies to the latest ambitious project of the outgoing deputy CEO Karl von Rohr.
