Deutsche Bahn is planning to increase its capacity to transport grain from Ukraine. “We are assuming that we will be able to ramp up the system extremely over the next few weeks, so that we will really be able to get the maximum rail capacity out of Ukraine,” said the chairwoman of the Deutsche Bahn subsidiary DB Cargo, Sigrid Nikutta on Friday on ZDF. Grain is brought from Ukraine to the ports of Poland, Germany and the Netherlands.
