The face of the world’s first pregnant ancient Egyptian mummy has been reconstructed by forensic scientists.
Known as ‘The Mysterious Lady’, the embalmed woman was analysed last year by a team of Polish researchers, who discovered evidence of a foetus inside her stomach.
They believe she died about 2,000 years ago while 28 weeks into her pregnancy, and was most likely aged between 20 and 30.
Now, experts have used her skull and other remains to produce two images showing
