Biden-Administration verschiebt Protect DACA

Die Regierung von Biden hat am Montag eine Verordnung zum „Schutz und zur Stärkung“ des Programms „Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals“ (DACA) erlassen.
Der Vorschlag des Heimatschutzministeriums würde das Programm, das 600.000 junge Einwanderer vor Abschiebung schützt, durch eine formelle Regelung neu erstellen.
Die neue Regel ist ein Versuch, das Programm der Obama-Ära zu retten, das seit seiner Einführung im Jahr 2012 Gegenstand mehrerer rechtlicher Anfechtungen war.
