UK’s ‘safest’ postcodes to live unveiled but buyers need to ‘dig deep’ to live there
Quickmove Properties analysed the crime rate across each postcode of the UK, based on crimes committed per 1,000 residents, before finding the “safest” UK postcodes and how much it costs to live there.
The research showed that the average crime rate across the nation’s 50 safest postcodes comes in at just 27 crimes per 1,00 people.

The average offence rate in the safest 50 postcodes is 27 per 1,000 people, but living there will cost a typical £355,573 – nearly 25% more than the £285,861 norm.
Analysis shows the safest district is PL35, covering the Boscastle area of Cornwall, which recorded just six crimes per 1,000 residents last year.
But with an average house price of £349,212, a home there comes in 22% higher than the country’s benchmark.
