WordPress.com announced that they are paying the domain transfer fees for Google Domains customers, and is committed to keeping domain registration prices low.
WordPress.com is matching Google’s pricing on over 400 top-level domains that are offered by WordPress.com.
Existing WordPress.com customers will also benefit from rock bottom prices on domain name registrations.

Thousands of Britons could be missing out on hundreds of pounds worth by not switching to high-interest savings accounts.
Research by Shawbook Bank found that half of the savers (46 percent) in Britain are choosing to leave their savings in current accounts with low interest, and 30 percent admit to being “on the fence” about moving to another account.
Savers are being warned
Taxpayers are slamming inheritance tax (IHT) as “unfair” following the revelation that 50,000 Britons are being forced to pay the levy.
A recent report, obtained by the Telegraph, has revealed the number of people being dragged into the IHT threshold is four times more than previously forecast.
Chancellor Jeremy Hunt made the decision to freeze the inheritance tax threshold at £325,000 until April 2028.

The number of families paying inheritance tax (IHT) has increased by 17 percent, a new report published by HMRC shows.
In the 2020/21 tax year, total IHT liabilities rose 16 percent to £5.76billion while the average inheritance tax bill fell by one percent, down £2,000 but still to a staggering £214,000.
