Used car prices have considerably declined but costs are still higher than just two years ago, according to new data.
Second-hand prices, including petrol and diesel machines, dropped by 1.9 percent in July, an estimated drop of around £350 in just a month.
The decline is larger than the average July slump of around 1.2 percent seen pre-pandemic.
However, used car prices still stand around 30 percent more expensive than they were back in 2021, according to Cap HPI.
