Talented photographers are putting stars in our eyes.
Travel photography blog Capture the Atlas has revealed the 25 best photos of the Milky Way for 2024 in its annual Milky Way Photographer of the Year awards.
The winners are released each May during peak ‘Milky Way season’, when the stars can best be captured in all their glory.
This year’s list was selected from more than 5,000 entries taken in 15 countries from the U.S to New Zealand, with
‘Mountains hold an air of mystery and intrigue.’
So says Arpan Das, whose incredible photographs of mountains capture the essence of their mystery in spellbinding fashion.
Taken everywhere from the Canadian Rockies to the Swiss Alps, these shots are proving a hit on Instagram, earning Das nearly 40,000 followers to date.
