Year one, it might seem like a great idea to commit the rest of your summer Tuesdays to a recreational bocce-ball league, or pencil in every birthday until you die at a Dave and Buster’s bowling alley. But it’s almost inevitable that, by year five, your annual tradition starts to grate.
