Swanky Mayfair private members’ club Oswald’s was the venue for what proved a decidedly elegant black tie affair tonight, with 100 guests enjoying dinner, fizz and cocktails – and dancing into the early hours.

But what made the night particularly special for the birthday girl, said friends, was having all of the Spice Girls in the same room.

The Eagles’ Randy Meisner remembered by former bandmates Don Felder, Joe Walsh: ‘Wicked fun memories’

Eagles co-founding member Randy Meisner is being remembered by former bandmates after he died at the age of 77 Wednesday. 

The Eagles said on their official Facebook page Meisner died from complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

“Randy was an integral part of the Eagles and instrumental in the early success of the band. His vocal range was astonishing, as is evident on his signature ballad, ‘Take It to the Limit,’” the band said in a post.

Beatles’ Paul McCartney, Rolling Stones collaborate as surviving bandmates recapture glory days

Paul McCartney and the Rolling Stones are coming together to make new music.

The 80-year-old founding member of The Beatles recently hit the studio in Los Angeles with Mick Jagger, 79, and Keith Richards, 79, where McCartney laid down a bass track for the Rolling Stones’ upcoming album, a representative for the band confirmed to the Guardian.

Tom Parker’s funeral: The Wanted bandmates unite in grief ahead of heartbreaking service

Tom Parker’s The Wanted bandmates paid their respects to their late friend as they united at the singer’s funeral in south-east London on Wednesday.

Tom  died on Wednesday March 30 aged 33 surrounded by his loved ones and bandmates, following a two-year battle with stage 4 glioblastoma.
