Man Utd transfer ‘one step away’ as Glazers cave in to Sofyan Amrabat asking price | Football | Sport

Scott McTominay also faces an uncertain future at United with reports stating he has been made available in the market. West Ham and Newcastle have been linked with a move for the Scotland international, but no teams have yet met United’s asking price.

It’s been suggested that United are hoping to receive around £40m for the 26-year-old. McTominay came on as a half-time substitute in United’s latest pre-season friendly against Real Madrid.

He looked to have suffered a knee injury at the final whistle, sparking fears of a knock that would rule him out of a move away. But the midfielder eased those concerns after the match, insisting he felt “alright”.
