“Destination X”, “The job of my life”… The channel presents its new back-to-school event

“Get ready for action, the spectacular, the escape, the unexpected…”, promised the voiceover in a short clip. The M6 group presented this Wednesday to the press the new features of its antennas for the start of the school year.

On the side of the sixth channel, the event will be Destination X, an investigation and escape game that will see ten candidates locked in a bus whose windows are blacked out. They will have to guess which city in Europe they are being taken to. Viewers will also ignore the destination…

M6 will also soon launch The perfect picture. This photography competition will see personalities (Antoine Duléry, Adriana Karembeu, Black M, Denitsa Ikonomova, Michel Sarran and Alizé Lim) try to immortalize the best shot on a given theme. In the preview shown to the media, there was talk of a safari… at Thoiry Park

The channel will try to seduce music lovers with Hit List, a game co-presented by Elodie Gossuin and Issa Doumbia. Adaptation of a concept launched on the BBC in 2019, this musical quiz is built like a blind test.

Try another job or go back to the school of 1880

M6 will also ride the current trend for retraining and other changes in professional life with The job of my life. Participants who are bored with their jobs or dream of more exciting prospects will be able to try their hand at another job for several months. At the end of the experience, they will reveal if their wish to change profession has been confirmed or if it was just a passing fancy.

In The school to go back in time, fifteen middle school students, three teachers and a school director will be immersed in a class of yesteryear. They will discover what the schooling of a young teenager looked like in 1880, 1920, 1950 and 1980.

“It’s both a human experience, because it will be funny to see these children immersed in the school of yesteryear, but it’s also sociologically interesting,” said Guillaume Charles, director of programs at M6.

An overview of the documentary offer was also given. A silence so loud will tackle the subject of incest, while Not so white blouses will investigate sexual and moral harassment in the medical environment. At the heart of the college will show the everyday life of college students in an establishment and Philippe Etchebest will embark for the Marquesas Islands in an “escape documentary” which does not yet have a definitive title.
