The strong man of the French reinsurer was 71 years old.
Denis Kessler, president of reinsurer Scor died on Friday at the age of 71, Scor announced in a press release. He had straightened out the reinsurer (insurer of insurers), of which he held the position of CEO from 2002 to 2021. Since then, he has been non-executive chairman of Scor and appeared very weak on May 25 during the general meeting of the French group . “During the past two decades, Denis Kessler has been the architect of Scor’s success and reputation throughout the world, said in a statement Thierry Léger, CEO of Scor, since May 1. “Her passion for reinsurance was unparalleled, and her ambition to make SCOR an industry leader never left her.
