They suffer from bruises and neck pain. Two police officers – a woman and a man – were injured on Monday in Toulouse in a traffic accident which occurred on the sidelines of the May Day demonstration. It took place around 3 p.m., avenue Honoré-Serres, when they brought back to the central police station a demonstrator arrested on the boulevards for having assaulted the police.
On the way, the 28-year-old woman started hitting the official who was driving. He lost control of the car. The two police officers were evacuated to the hospital. They filed a complaint against the suspect. She emerged unscathed from the accident but her police custody was later lifted for medical reasons. The investigation is continuing.
