Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be released on February 29th for the PlayStation 5! In an exclusive State of Play, Sony and Square Enix have now released around 11 minutes of new gameplay. The game tells the story of Cloud Strife and his loyal companions as they explore a vast world beyond the Mako city of Midgar and are on the trail of Sephiroth, one of the most famous video game antagonists of all time. The video shows an overview of the world map, various ways to explore the huge game world, including a variety of vehicles and mounts, exploring the surrounding area, mini-games and much more.

Square Enix has also released a demo for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on the PlayStation Store. In the demo you can experience the Nibelheim episode, which opens the story.
