The US food delivery service Doordash is expanding its mainstay in Europe with its participation in the German food delivery service Flink. A total of $ 750 million had been collected in the latest financing round, said Flink. The company is now valued at almost three billion dollars – similar to its Berlin competitor Gorillas. Doordash had only taken over Finnish competitor Wolt in November for seven billion euros and thus expanded into Europe. The delivery service Flink was only founded about a year ago. In the meantime, according to its own information, up to ten million customers in more than 60 cities are reached with a range of up to 2500 products.
