On Tuesday night, drivers have to be careful: A deep brings snow and slippery conditions from the west. A map shows the snow forecast for the day.
Tief Gerrit comes to Germany from the west and brings a snow front with him. The lowest and highest values for the temperatures are between -1 degrees in Western Pomerania and 7 degrees on the Upper Rhine.

Incidentally, pedestrians are advised to waddle like a penguin on black ice. That means: the body’s center of gravity is shifted to the front leg. The foot touches down with the entire sole and points slightly outwards. The loaded leg is at right angles to the floor, the forward leaning posture provides more stability. According to the German Society for Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery, this minimizes the risk of falling and injuring yourself.
