Easter time is decoration time. No sooner have the bushes and trees sprouted than there is a scurrying noise on the chests of drawers and breakfast tables, as if Lenz himself wanted to sweep out the gray winter. Brightly painted mugs hold brightly colored eggs, a bright yellow table runner decorated with bunnies vies with a pop art resin rooster. There are also flowers and bells made of metal and glass or napkin rings in the shape of squirrels. Some tables are transformed into a small porcelain fowl menagerie.
