According to information from Sky, there will be a spectacular return campaign for the German record champions. According to the report, there have been concrete negotiations between Julian Nagelsmann and the Munich team in the past few days. The talks are already well advanced and the current national coach has a three to four-year contract at Säbener Straße. When he first took office at the Reds, the 36-year-old received a five-year contract in the summer of 2021.

Nagelsmann is Max Eberl’s dream coach
Max Eberl in particular is said to have pushed forward the discussions and was in active contact with the ex-Bayern coach’s advisor. After Xabi Alonso’s rejection, Nagelsmann is the absolute dream coach of the Munich sports board.
However, according to AZ information, there are still concerns about Nagelsmann in the management team at FC Bayern, and an agreement at management level is still a long way away at Säbener Straße. The 36-year-old is one of the candidates, and discussions are also continuing with other candidates.
According to Sky, Nagelsmann himself is basically open to returning to the record champions, but he has not yet made a final commitment.
In the summer of 2021, FC Bayern signed Nagelsmann as Hansi Flick’s successor. Although the record champions were still represented in all three competitions, the former coach of Leipzig and Hoffenheim was dismissed after just one and a half years in March 2023. In September 2023 he finally took over the DFB team – again as Flick’s successor.
