Decathlon stirs up the sports trade – economy

Heavy people often have a problem. Everyone, doctors above all, advises them to move more and, if possible, to do sports in order to lose weight and become healthier and fitter. But if they then overcome their weaker self, go to the sports shop and want to buy suitable equipment, they fail because of the measly offer in their clothing sizes. Or the shirts and shoes are designed carelessly and look horrible. The industry, which is trimmed for fitness and youthfulness, does not naturally focus on people over dress size XL. Manufacturers are only slowly realizing that there is a target group. Adidas launched a corresponding collection for the first time a few months ago, and now Decathlon is following suit. The French group has risen to become the largest sporting goods retailer. He brought together 30 customers and worked with them to develop shirts, leggings and bras for workouts in sizes 3XL to 5XL.
