Man from Upper Bavaria threatened Austrian doctor
According to research by BR, a man from Upper Bavaria had threatened the doctor who practices in Upper Austria in emails and on Twitter. Among other things, by observing them and “bringing such creatures before the people’s tribunals to be set up in the future!”.
Lisa-Maria Kellermayr, who ran a practice for general medicine in Seewalchen am Attersee in Austria until a few weeks ago, then reported the author to the responsible public prosecutor’s office in Wels. This forwarded the procedure to the public prosecutor’s office in Traunstein with a request to take over. Apparently, the accused does not live in their area of responsibility, but in a district court for which the Munich II public prosecutor is responsible, so that the file was forwarded.
Investigations in the Munich public prosecutor’s office are ongoing
The Munich prosecution authorities confirm that they are investigating a male person on suspicion of insult and threats. The public prosecutor’s office did not provide any further information about the accused. The investigations against the man are currently ongoing, according to a statement when asked by BR.
Only when all the necessary investigations have been carried out can a decision be made as to whether the suspicion is confirmed and whether the conditions for indictment are met. The Munich II public prosecutor’s office contradicts Austrian media reports (including Standard), according to which the German authorities have dismissed the statements as being covered by freedom of expression.
Bavarian Medical Association is dismayed by the death of the colleague from Austria
