Deadly dispute – suspect in custody – Munich

After a fatal argument in Obersendling, in which a 32-year-old was killed in July, the suspect is now in custody in Munich. The 23-year-old was arrested at the Croatian border just eight days after the crime.

Because the investigative homicide commission had evidence that the suspect was abroad, the district court had issued a European arrest warrant; Accusation: bodily harm resulting in death. After the Croatian authorities approved the extradition, the man was handed over to the local police on Monday.

What led to the fatal argument is still unknown. An initially only verbal argument between two groups in a restaurant had moved outside, where the 23-year-old is said to have hit his opponent in the face. When the elder fell, his head hit the ground. The accused has not yet commented on the act.
