Two people have been killed in a shooting in the US city of Baltimore. 28 people were injured. That is what the police said. The background to the crime is not yet known.
According to the local police, deadly shots were fired in Baltimore in the USA at night. Two people died and 28 others were injured. The acting police chief of the city in the US state of Maryland, Richard Worley, gave these figures at a press conference at the scene of the crime. Three of the injured were in critical condition, he said.
It was also unclear whether it was a one-sided attack or an exchange of fire.
Apparently 20 to 30 shots were fired
The television station WBFF had previously reported that the crime in the south of the city had killed dozens as well as injured them. According to media reports, eyewitnesses speak of 20 to 30 shots. Hundreds of people had apparently gathered in the city for an event called “Brooklyn Day”.
