DDoS attack on Diablo 4 is finally over: It was happening yesterday on the servers

Yesterday, Blizzard was hit by a DDoS attack that particularly affected the login to Diablo 4. But other Blizzard titles were also affected. Now, however, the spook has finally come to an end.

Diablo 4 is now playable again without any problems

On Sunday, Blizzard Customer Service posted this message on Twitter: “We are currently investigating an issue affecting our authentication servers, which may result in failed or slow login attempts.”

In a subreddit, players also share notifications from their Battle.net that should prove that Diablo 4, World of Warcraft and Co. are affected by a DDoS attack. Here, Blizzard states that “We are currently experiencing a DDoS attack that may be causing some players to experience high latency and disconnects. We are actively working to mitigate this issue.” You can also find this message on Twitter.

As the customer service wrote a few hours later, the DDoS attacks that the company observed should now be over. I can get back into the game quickly and without any problems. If that’s not the case for you, you can go to the Troubleshooting Page from Blizzard to help you with connection issues.
