The December number will be the last paper edition that is displayed on the trains, as the railway announced on Monday. “Many now prefer to use a laptop or smartphone,” said Jürgen Kornmann, head of marketing, explaining the move. “We are now following this trend.”

Although it is difficult to do without the printed magazine, the brand should become even more present on new channels and with new content. For this purpose, the website dbmobil.de will be relaunched; it should focus more on topics related to sustainable mobility.
