Alice Mascia, 48, has been running the sports streaming provider Dazn in Germany, Austria and Switzerland since May. And again, the Italian has one task above all: lead the business out of the crisis and make it profitable. She has experience with that. For almost 20 years, Mascia worked for the US media group News Corp. by Rupert Murdoch, with a brief stint at a consulting firm. In 2002 she helped launch the pay channel Sky Italia, from 2008 she worked for almost ten years at Sky Germany and then moved to the pay channel Foxtel in Australia. For a fee, Dazn exclusively shows the Bundesliga on Friday and Sunday and almost the entire Champions League. Mascia now lives in Munich again, but is also regularly in Kuala Lumpur, where her husband works.
