DAZN increases prices for new customers – existing subscriptions will be affected from July

The DAZN subscription will be more expensive for new customers from February. If you already have a subscription, you won’t have to adjust to a price increase until July.
The sports streaming platform DAZN will adjust its price structure for new customers from February 1, 2022 and increase prices. Nothing will change for existing DAZN subscribers.

The provider, which has massively expanded its offer in football since the summer and broadcasts, among other things, the Friday and Sunday games in the Bundesliga and a large part of the Champions League, wants to position itself “with a reasonable price in the market structure”. DAZN announced this on Tuesday.
From February 1st, the monthly cancelable subscription for new or reactivated accounts will now cost EUR 29.99 per calendar month. The annual subscription, which costs new customers a total of 274.99 euros from February, also offers a discount.
As a new payment option, there is now also the option of paying the annual subscription in monthly installments. In this case, customers pay 24.99 euros per month.
New DAZN price: Current customers will only be affected in July
Current DAZN subscribers are not affected by this price increase for the time being. They will remain at their current price until July 1st, 2022.
This also applies to sports fans who take out a DAZN subscription by January 31, 2022. A DAZN month currently costs 14.99 euros, the annual subscription is still available for just under a week for 149.99 euros.
The “Netflix des Sports” currently offers over 8,000 live sports events per year in HD quality. In addition to football, the offer also includes US sports with the NBA and NHL, top tennis, top-class UFC and boxing events and the two Eurosport channels Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2.
