Extravagant wedding gift for Brooklyn

David Beckham gave his son a Jaguar converted into an electric vehicle for their wedding. The proud price: 500,000 dollars.
David Beckham (46) gave his newlywed son Brooklyn (23) a Jaguar worth $ 500,000 (about 460,000 euros) for the wedding. Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz, 27, were married on Saturday at Peltz’ father Nelson’s estate in Florida.
Electric car in vintage guise
David Beckham commissioned the Jaguar XK140 from the company he is investing in, Lunaz. The Jaguar, built in 1954, has been repainted by Lunaz and converted into an electric car.
“This remarkable car is the perfect gift for his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola on their wedding anniversary,” said classic car enthusiast and CEO, David Lorenz. according to the Daily Mail. “This extraordinary vintage electric car from Lunaz symbolizes a bright, positive future in every respect.”
The couple received the car on Sunday morning – but only after David and Victoria (47) had taken it for a spin.
Like Harry and Meghan once did
The car is also the same model in which Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (40) drove from their wedding in May 2018 – which was also equipped with an electric motor. Brooklyn and Nicola’s photos in the light blue Jaguar are also the first they’ve seen since their $3.5 million wedding.
