The Englishman Cross is the first semi-finalist at the Darts World Cup. The performances in London are reminiscent of his triumph in 2018.

The Englishman Rob Cross crowned a fantastic comeback and made it to the semi-finals Darts World Championship.

The 33-year-old won his quarter-final 5-4 against compatriot Chris Dobey after being 0-4 behind. So far, Cross has been convincing more and more from game to game in the tournament, which is endowed with 2.5 million pounds (around 2.9 million euros). In the round of 16 he defeated co-favorite Jonny Clayton from Wales 4-0.

His opponent will be determined immediately afterwards between the Northern Irishman Brendan Dolan and Luke Littler. The 16-year-old Englishman Littler is the sensation of this tournament and could become the youngest semi-finalist in World Cup history. For Dobey, what had been such a promising tournament to date, in which he also defeated world champion Michael Smith 4-0, ended in bitter disappointment.
