Back to the beginning: Daniela Katzenberger is returning from RTLzwei to VOX later this year. It was there that she started her TV career.
Back in the basket: Daniela Katzenberger (36) returns to the station that made her famous. Your docu-soap will change from RTLzwei to VOX in the future. Both belong to the RTL Group, which announced the news on June 9th. Other projects are also planned.
The seventh season is still running on RTLzwei
In addition to new episodes of the documentary “Daniela Katzenberger – Familienglück auf Mallorca”, additional formats are planned for VOX, according to the media group. “And Daniela will also be seen in the large family of channels from RTL Germany.” Before that, however, the seventh season of the documentary with ten new episodes will run again on RTLzwei from June 21st.
“It’s going to be super, super nice”
Daniela Katzenberger is happy about the return to the “VOX basket”. “We’re looking forward to many exciting projects, it’s going to be super, super nice.” She should have many happy memories with the station, after all she became famous throughout Germany from 2009 with the programs “Auf und weg – Mein Auslandstagebuch” and “Goodbye Deutschland”. After that, she was accompanied by VOX at many stations in her life. This was followed by her first own docu-soap “Daniela Katzenberger – naturally blonde”, “Daniela’s wedding secret” and “Daniela Katzenberger – naturally beautiful”.
In 2015 she switched to RTLzwei, where her documentary soap “Daniela Katzenberger – Mit Lucas im Babyglück” ran. A year later, the live wedding with singer Lucas Cordalis (55) was broadcast there. Since 2017, the couple has been sharing life with their daughter Sophia (7) on the island in “Daniela Katzenberger – Familienglück auf Mallorca”.
Marcel Amruschkewitz, VOX editor-in-chief and head of entertainment, says he is happy about the TV blonde’s return to the station: “Together we have experienced so many great television moments and have never lost sight of each other.” The broadcaster is looking forward to “new adventures – with the cat, her Lucas and daughter Sophia. And that in the upcoming TV season”.
