A week ago, Daniel Aminati announced that his wife Patrice had metastases in her lungs.
It is a painful, frightening setback that Patrice (29), the wife of “taff” presenter Daniel Aminati (50), is currently having to cope with: The cancer is back and with full force: Patrice has been fighting bravely against black skin cancer since spring 2023 . In the meantime she even gained new hope. But now metastases have been discovered in Patrice’s lungs. On Saturday (March 23rd) she contacted her fans via Instagram for the first time since the sad news.

In her post she writes: “Today is the day on which I want to and can contact you. I have received many lovely messages and well wishes. Thank you very much… forgive me for not being able to respond immediately. I was and am “Even today, I’m not able to do that.”
She also posted photos documenting her battle against cancer. Sometimes with her daughter Charly, sometimes with bald spots on her head that are the result of her treatment. Patrice often smiles in the pictures, but one clip also shows her crying in a wheelchair being wheeled out of an ambulance.
The 29-year-old doesn’t want to sugarcoat anything. She shows her own personal roller coaster of emotions as it is. Patrice explains: “Those affected know that if a cancer patient doesn’t come forward, if he is quiet, if he remains silent, then it is bad. I have had a difficult time. With pain that was unimaginable for me.”
Patrice Aminati: “I actually thought I was healthy”
What was also bad was the bitter realization that the illness had come back: “I actually thought I was healthy and didn’t notice that metastases had developed in the head and lungs. The (pain) problem is not the cancer, Because at my stage of the disease you don’t feel it (yet), but rather the therapy, from radiation to immunotherapy.”
But Patrice doesn’t give up, she wants to keep fighting and keep living: “I’m grateful for the new, Nobel Prize-winning therapy. Because I want to live. Just live… my little dear life.”
When the side effects subside, her therapy will continue. Patrice calls on other affected people and their relatives to also stay strong and courageous and stick together. Patrice: “Just like us: my Daniel, my family and especially my mom.
