The 2024 edition of Dance with the stars comes to an end, this Friday, April 26, during the grand final which is currently broadcast on TF1. This season has been marked by numerous events, between altercations, accusations of cheating, injuries and grades deemed too harsh. We also had very good performances, with at the finish, a final bonus pitting Inès Reg against Nico Capone and Natasha St-Pier.
This evening is not over, since we still do not know the name of the big winner. But there has just been a first elimination. However, before revealing the name of the couple who unfortunately no longer have any chance of winning the trophy, let’s take a look at the program for this final. “There won’t be one dance, there won’t be two dances, there will be three dances to prepare.“, announced before the bonus, Anthony Colette, to his dance partner Natasha St-Pier, in a video revealed on TF1+. On the menu this evening for the duo: a quickstep, a freestyle, and finally an Argentine tango.
A first eliminated in this DALS 2024 final
For Nico Capone: a contemporary dance on My mouth by Johnny Hallyday, a freestyle and a paso-doble. And finally, for Inès Reg: a samba on Single Ladies by Beyoncé, followed by a freestyle on Unstoppable by Sia. The production preferred to keep the mystery concerning their last dance, before we discovered live that it was a… Also note that Inès Vandamme suffered from tendinitis before the final, and that Billy Crawford, the winner of the 2022 season with Fauve Hautot, now a member of the jury, will have the mission in a few moments to hand over the trophy to his successor.
But in the meantime, a first candidate has just been eliminated, both by viewers and the jury. Who is it about? It is Inès Reg who bows, only one step from victory. Which may come as a surprise, especially since she had just given a superb performance, notably pushing Chris Marques to release his first “10” of the season.
She thanked everyone, with a lot of fair play, before adding that she also “suffered a lot”, because many of them would have felt that she was advantaged and favored during this season: “They made me what they called a TF1 product, they said ‘she’s sure to win’, I’m officially not a TF1 product, and guys, I didn’t cheat!“
Victory will therefore be between Nico Capone and Natasha St-Pier. The result in a few minutes!
