Dachau: eighth grader sprayed animal repellent spray during class – Dachau

An eighth-grader sprayed tear gas during class on Thursday afternoon at the Dachau-Süd middle school, slightly injuring seven students. As reported by the Dachau police, the student played in the classroom with an animal repellent spray that is freely available. Some of the irritant got into the air.

The class immediately left the room with the teacher. Subsequently, seven students complained about irritation of the respiratory tract and eyes. Two rescue service crews and an emergency doctor had to treat the injured young people at school. The parents of the affected students have been notified. The police are now investigating the student who sprayed the irritant for negligent bodily harm.
