Czech Republic: World’s longest suspension bridge opened to visitors

Watch the video: The Czech Republic opens the longest suspension bridge in the world.

According to the operator’s research, this pedestrian suspension bridge is the longest in the world. It is located in the north-east of the Czech Republic on the border with Poland and was opened to guests on Friday. Its impressive dimension is 721 meters long. And the construct inspires a lot of respect from some visitors: “It’s a great view for me. But I don’t know exactly what my junior says about it. It’s just beautiful, isn’t it?” “I’m a bit scared because the bridge is shaking a bit.” So far, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge was located in Portugal. Now this building holds the new record, which, however, was not planned in advance, as the operators assure. At its highest point, it hovers about 95 meters above the ground. The construction period was around two years and the construction costs were around 8 million euros. So the Sky Bridge 721 is a sight that can certainly inspire respect and adrenaline rushes.
