Cyclists had an accident in Unterföhring – district of Munich

A 54-year-old cyclist fell on Munich Street in Unterföhring on Tuesday afternoon and later died in the hospital. According to the police, the man from the Munich district fell because he lost control of his bike due to illness and became unconscious. First responders and later an ambulance resuscitated the man, who was then taken to a nearby hospital. The accident happened at the junction with the Isarweg when the 54-year-old was cycling into town. While he was being treated at the scene of the accident, Münchner Strasse was completely closed in both directions. The traffic disruption lasted about an hour. Traffic has been diverted. Two MVG bus lines were also affected by the traffic disruption.
