Tadej Pogacar is getting closer and closer to overall victory in the Tour of Catalonia. The Slovenian won his third stage after a tough climb and increased his gap in the overall ranking to his direct pursuer Mikel Landa to 3:31 minutes.

After the 154 kilometers on the sixth section, Pogacar crossed the finish line 57 seconds ahead of the Colombian Egan Bernal and the third-placed Landa. “Today was a really tough stage,” said the 25-year-old Pogacar. The section on the penultimate day of the tour was tough. The professionals had to overcome 4000 meters of altitude and three climbs in the third category and one each in the second and first category. The final stage ends on Sunday with a hilly stage with start and finish in Barcelona.
