Customer finds whole chicken head in her KFC box – restaurant apologizes

A British woman named Gabrielle found a chicken head in her hot wings box. As a result, she lost her appetite – understandably. The fast food chain found it difficult to explain.
A woman named Gabrielle from Twickenham, England, needed a quick snack during her lunch break – for example, she ordered a menu from her home office via a delivery service from “Kentucky Fried Chicken”, commonly known as KFC. The fast food chain is known for its chicken dishes, especially boxes of chicken wings. But on this day, Gabrielle’s appetite for the crispy breaded pieces of meat will be gone forever.
When she started to eat chicken wings out of the box, Gabriella came across something in it that she definitely didn’t want to eat: a – fried – chicken head. Complete with beak. We don’t want to include the unsightly picture in the article without warning, but you can see here. The British woman then decided not to eat the rest of the menu – and instead immediately wrote a review on the delivery company’s website: “I found a fried chicken head in my Hot Wings. Urgh, I couldn’t eat the rest of it.”

Other people came across the shocking rating online and couldn’t help but comment. “How could they overlook something like that?”, “Then why do you still give two stars?” or “At least you now know it’s real chicken”. And even KFC itself could not duck back after the riot and tried to react to the incident with humor. Gabriella gave “probably the most generous two-star rating of all time”, according to the fast food chain in the newspaper “The Sun”.
“To put it simply: We prepare real chicken – and we are proud of that – but that has clearly slipped through our strict controls and checks at our suppliers, partners and teams. Everything is freshly prepared in our restaurants. And it is true that they too best plans sometimes go wrong, and this is extremely rare. We take this very seriously and have already put further measures in place to prevent it from happening again. ” In the meantime they have contacted Gabrielle.
