Curfew in Augsburg: Clubs are allowed to open longer in individual cases – Bavaria

The city of Augsburg allows clubs to open until 8 a.m. in individual cases. This is not only good for the DJs, but also for the residents. How strictly other cities interpret the Bavarian curfew law.

There is little more disillusioning than the cleaning light in a discotheque: when the neon lights come on, the magic of the night is gone and the mood on the (now clearly dirty) floor is gone. In Bavaria, according to restaurant regulations, music bars close at 5 a.m. every morning (except on New Year’s Eve). Basically: curfew, police hour, cleaning hour – whatever you call it, all guests have to leave now.
